It is always helpful to follow the examples of great companies, and nowhere is that more true than in the case of Zappos, the online shoe retailer. If you haven’t been following the success of this company then you are missing one of the finest examples of how to create relationships with customers at an emotional level.

The demand to get a firsthand look at how this company is run has been so high that Zappos now offers tours of its facilities 16 times each week in addition to holding two day seminars (at $4000 a crack). The company is even getting ready to relaunch Zappos Insights, where for $40 a month subscribers can pick up on insights on the Zappos culture.  Sounds like a great investment of your time.
